Capitals have fun Alex Ovechkin's 800th career goal

It will be hard to write a better script to hit one of these lofty expert milestones. Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin scored his 18th

19th and 20th goals of the season, his 798th, 799th and 800th goals of his NHL career

on Tuesday night against the Blackhawks in Chicago. He becomes the third player on NHL records to reach the 800-goal mark

joining Hall of Famers Gordie Howe (801) and Wayne Gretzky (894).

Ovechkin's 1/3 goal of the night and the 800th goal of his NHL career came on 1/3 of Tuesday

He was harassed by his teammates and received the cheers of "Ovi, Ovi" from parents at United's centre.

Ovechkin did a few interviews after the game, including as his teammates headed to the locker room

Nicklas Backstrom and Tom Wilson also left the click field in time for Ovechkin to enter the room.
