Different: Tesla makes China the highest-profile head of government after Musk

Jan 3 (Reuters) - Chinese Tesla Inc (TSLA.O) chief Tom Zhu has been promoted to take direct oversight of the electric carmaker's U.S.

Tesla's post confirmed that Zhu's name as vice president for more China had not changed and that he also retained his duties as Tesla's chief

The move makes Zhu the highest-profile government at Tesla after CEO Elon Musk, with direct oversight of deliveries in all its core markets
