Jets assistant Miles Austin suspended
for playing, to appeal
Big Apple Jets wide receivers coach Miles Austin has
been suspended for at least three hundred and sixty-five days
a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter and the wealthy
Cimini, for violating NFL gambling policy.
The NFL issued an announcement Friday confirming
that Austin has been suspended and is attractive.
"The league will have no further comment until that
enchantment is resolved," the NFL statement said.
Austin must serve any suspension before applying
for reinstatement, a source told ESPN.
The NFL has been investigating Austin for some time, a source told ESPN,
after he discovered he was playing sports
not NFL games or college football, in violation
of Austin's employee gaming policy.
Austin's attorney and agent, William P. Deni Jr., told more
than one media retailer that Austin no longer guessed NFL games.
