NFL star Damar Hamlin in important condition after cardiac arrest
Speaking on CNN Tuesday, Steve DeOssie, who began his
NFL career in the mid-1980s, said: "Any change to the game is met with all kinds of skepticism."
DeOssie said that after Damar Hamlin's cardiac arrest in the
area Monday night, his son Zak, who also played within the NFL
players' association, told his father that the
league now has an emergency situation facility for those situations
“They have eventualities now in the neighborhood in
case of positive scenario emergencies like this
So while possibly 10 years ago, they may
not have had several of these conditions,” he said.
