Reviews: Jalen Hurts has an injured shoulder
that could sideline him against the Cowboys
Jalen Hurts has a sprained throwing shoulder, and
his status for Saturday's NFC East matchup
against the Dallas Cowboys isn't sure, according to
a couple of reviews.
His agent, Nicole Lynn, told ESPN they don't think his injury
is long-term
while the Philadelphia Inquirer reports the injury should
sideline him for two games.
Hurts is supposed to have sustained the damage sometime in the 0.33 sector
of Sunday's 25-20 win over the Bears
He stayed in the game and capped a fourth-frame scoring
push with a 1-yard landing run after the hit.
Backup quarterback Gardner Minshew will likely start against the Cowboys and
Hurts remains sidelined.
Minshew is one of the most experienced backup
quarterbacks in the NFL
