Sixers hoping to get back in shape after sudden loss to Washington Wizards: 'We just didn't have it'

The Sixers (20-13) went on an 8-game winning streak in the contest, thanks in large part to the tandem of Joel Embiid

and Embiid played at their elite ranks. Harden, an All-NBA guard, had 26 points,

, thirteen assists, three steals and a game-high block. Embiid finished with a sport-high 

48 points, including 10 rebounds, 3 steals and 3 group blocks. The All-NBA half struggled mightily

down the stretch. The Sixers also faltered defensively, especially in the first half when the Wizards

 made 55.8% of their shots. Philly went straight to the road via as many as 16 points inside the 0.33 area.
