Tory Lanez observed guilty of
capturing Megan Thee Stallion
Singer and rapper Tory Lanez has been found guilty of
assaulting rapper Megan Thee Stallion.
The Canadian artist was sentenced on all charges in
court on December 23.
after the rappers walked out on a birthday celebration at the pool
at Kylie Jenner's Los Angeles residence.
Lanez, real name Daystar Peterson, was tried for 3 prison charges;
assault with a semi-automatic firearm
Peterson, 30, was accused
of assaulting Megan Thee Stallion
whose real name is Megan Pete, by grabbing her on both feet after an argument in a
car leaving the party that spilled into the road around 4 a.m.
A jury of seven women and five men deliberated for two days in advanced court
after hearing arguments from the prosecution
and defense in a high-profile trial that has dragged on for the past few
weeks, up to the Christmas holiday weekend. .
